A Day In The Life Of A College Student

College lifestyle is definitely different from the lifestyle of a student who’s still in high school. Everyone dresses different, the freedom when being in college, students influencing other students, be it bad or good, it depends really. Know your crowd kids, don’t fall into the wrong one. I’ve got a really great crowd of friends, who happens to be my family even though I’ve only known them in a matter of months. I’m a part of them and that makes me happy. They’re the ones that gets me excited to be in college, not classes.

College is the only place I get to be free from everything, like personal problems, troubles, my anxiety. Growing up in a strict household isn’t exactly easy for me as there are lot’s of ground rules, which I don’t have a problem with, but as a rebel, it’s still hard to abide them. Not being able to get out of the house is also kind of upsetting because I’ve got parents who would say no without a valid reason. College is my escape plan.

College is basically my getaway, where most of my adventures begin, the thrill and excitement that comes along with it. It’s where I really grow and learn about a lot of things.

This is my lifestyle in college, it’s not sad until you’re hanging out with me.

The Year I Peaked

My Prime Year I was scrolling my Facebook feed when this showed up in my Facebook Memories. This particular picture taken from Mass Comm Society’s official Facebook page from 2018 from their album titled “Hollywood Night: Trip Down The Memory Lane.” If memory serves me correct, this was the second Member’s Gathering by MCS that year, and the one thing that attracted me to this picture was my long hair tied up in a ponytail. My hair was also thick, which is a far cry from my thinning hairline today. Seeing me in this form today instantly triggered something within my brain and made me come to the realisation that 2018 was the year where I was in my prime – something I definitely have taken for granted, or that I have completely forgotten considering what I ended up going through between then and now. Our Origin

Have you ever wondered? About what, you may ask? About the language we speak? Isn't it strange that everyone around the world, ourselves included, simply put our trust into the people who taught us the language that we speak, write and even think in? When we were growing up, we blindly believed the information that others may have told us. And when we questioned them, some valid reasons were provided but most often, we were told that we'd understand when we grew older. But, for some unknown reasons, I still question many things in life, simpler ones such as colors, for instance. Why is blue called blue? And green called green? Why is anything named and called the way it is? Thus, in my opinion, our culture has shaped humankind into what we are now. These information had its origins and were passed down for generations till it reached us today.
